What we collect, and where it goes.
everydayugc is built and run by LockedIn AI. This describes what the product actually does with your data, not a template — a template would assert things that are false for us.
Who we share data with
A boilerplate privacy policy usually says your data is not shared with third parties. Ours is, because the product depends on specialised providers for the parts we do not build ourselves: payments, payouts, identity and public performance data. Here is every one of them.
| What we handle | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| Account identity, email | Clerk, our authentication provider |
| Public view counts on your posted videos | ScrapeCreators API — the platforms’ own public data, stored append-only |
| Brand subscription billing | Stripe |
| Job funding and escrow | Whop for Platforms |
| Creator payout details, KYC | Whop for Platforms |
| Tax forms — W-8 for non-US creators | Collected in our app; we remain merchant of record |
| Tax forms — 1099 for US creators | Handled by Whop for Platforms |
| Chat messages between brand and creator | Stored in our database, scanned server-side for shared contact details |
What is public
A creator’s display name, headline, platforms, portfolio and completion history are public, because a brand deciding whether to hire needs to see them.
Your rate is not public, deliberately.Public creator search does not accept a rate filter and does not offer a rate sort, on purpose — either would let someone recover the hidden number by narrowing the search until one creator is left. A brand only sees a rate once it is signed in and looking at creators through the brand side of the product.
Chat messages, payout details, KYC information and tax forms are never public. They are visible only to you, the other side of the conversation where relevant, and the providers listed above.
Chat is scanned
Messages between a brand and a creator are checked for contact details — emails, phone numbers, and handles for messaging apps — before they send. This is not idle surveillance: moving a deal off-platform is how creators end up unpaid, because escrow and pay-on-verified-views only cover work agreed and delivered on everydayugc.
A flagged message is blocked before it sends and the sender is told why, in plain terms. We do not read chat beyond that check and resolving a dispute one of you raises — the same retention rule stated below — and messages are not shared outside the two participants except where the law requires it.
How view data is used
View counts on a creator’s posted video come from the platform’s own public data — the same numbers anyone can see on the post — collected on a daily schedule and stored as a timestamped, append-only history. A reading is never edited or deleted once recorded, so what a brand paid against stays auditable later.
That history is checked for purchased engagement before a performance payment releases against it. If a video is flagged, the payment resting on that view count does not finalise until a person has reviewed it — it is not an automatic denial, and it does not affect the flat rate already earned on approved work.
If you leave
We do not have a self-serve “delete my account” button today. Write to support@everydayugc.com if you are a creator, or brands@everydayugc.com if you are a brand, and we will act on the request by hand.
What we can actually remove: your profile, headline, platforms and portfolio come down from public search and stop being shown to brands.
What we cannot remove, and will not promise to:settlement, payout and payment records are kept regardless of a deletion request — they are the accounting and tax record of money that moved, and deleting them is not something we are legally able to do. Tax forms already filed follow the same rule. Chat history tied to a hire may be kept for as long as needed to resolve a dispute either side raised about that hire.
We would rather say that plainly here than promise erasure and quietly not perform it.
Everything else
You must be 18 or older to use everydayugc, the same minimum age as our community rules.
We do not sell your data. If this policy changes in a way that matters — a new category of data, a new provider it goes to — we will update this page and change the date below rather than silently editing it.
